Red Barn Wedding Photography Surrey

I first met Venetia & Jeremy in the Spring of this year and could tell straight away what a loved up couple these two were. I still can't believe they managed to organise things so quickly even with their gorgeous son Elliot arriving only a few months before the big day.

After a frantic morning of preparations surrounded by champagne, laughter and babies it was a short hop over to Red Barn in Blindley Heath, Surrey. A lovely, rustic wedding venue complete with its own duck pond. The ceremony was held in the beautiful main barn decked out with lights and bunting which added to the cosy feeling away from the wind and rain outside. A break in the weather allowed me to get a few natural, relaxed portraits with the happy couple before it was time for dinner and some (very emotional) speeches followed by more drinking and dancing. A thoroughly jolly time was had by all!

Warren House Wedding Photography

Warren House is a gem of a venue, you'd never expect to find such a grand building tucked away in a quiet leafy suburb of Kingston Upon Thames so I was delighted to shoot Michelle & Chris' big day there this Summer.

I'd already met and shot a pre-wedding session with them earlier in the year and so knew how excited they both were and the planning they'd done to make their wedding so special. As the day was bathed in glorious sunshine it was also decided to hold the service outside in the beautiful grounds... a first at Warren House!

A beautifully intimate ceremony was followed by champers in the gardens which gave me a chance to shoot some relaxed and unobtrusive portraits with the newlyweds. Then it was off to dinner in the ornate Edwardian Ballroom. Once Michelle & Chris had survived a character mauling during the speeches it was time for some serious (and not so serious) moves on the dance floor. A beautiful day for a lovely couple.

Pembroke Lodge Wedding Photography

I've been meaning to blog Hayley & Antonio's amazing wedding for some time but with album orders and christmas I've only now had a chance to show off their brilliant day. Hayley contacted me last Spring and I knew straight away this was going to be a fun one! The fact it was to be held at Pembroke Lodge in the beautiful Richmond Park along with it being an Autumn wedding... AND all of 5 minutes from where I live... what's not to like?

The intimate ceremony was held in the Russell Suite with fantastic views over the Thames Valley and it was certainly an emotional service with plenty of happy tears. Drinks on the lawn surrounded by the beautiful colours of Autumn gave me a chance to take some relaxed, natural portraits while Hayley & Antonio took a breather before the wedding breakfast and speeches. With the evening drinks and dancing in full swing it was time to slip away into the eery darkness of a long since closed Richmond Park leaving the happy couple to throw some serious shapes on the dancefloor.

River Thames Wedding

There's nothing better than a hot Summer day by the river and so I was really looking forward to Lizzie & Pete's wedding celebrations at Linden House in Hammersmith. The day began with a beautiful and emotional service at the magnificent Ealing Abbey. This was a first for me as I'd never shot here before and I was blown away by the architecture and sheer grandeur of the place.

A short hop down the A4 and we arrived at the lovely Linden House tucked away on the banks of the Thames in Hammersmith. This stunning venue is home to The London Corinthian Sailing Club and they certainly know how to host a wedding.

It was one of those relaxed summer afternoons where everyone could eat, drink and celebrate together while watching the world go by. Lizzie & Pete fancied a stroll along the Thames and so I was able to capture some fun, relaxed shots while they enjoyed a drink and a breather. Al fresco ice cream and an impromptu round of applause from the local riverside drinkers ensured a day to remember.

Kensington Wedding Photography - 170 Queens Gate

It's always nice when you get to see a new twist on the traditional elements that make up a wedding. Roya & Dan's beautifully intimate London ceremony at 170 Queens Gate in Kensington did just that with a nod to both western and Iranian cultures.It was a real privilege to be part of a day full of emotion mixed with fun and laughter, something that as a photographer, I aim to capture as much as possible. Throw in some traditional music, a massive cake from www.anniethingforfood.co.uk and some spectacular belly dancing and I'm a happy man! It was also evident just how much in love Roya and Dan are, whether it was a touch of the hand or a subtle reassuring look, you couldn't hope to meet a happier couple.

London Pub Wedding Photography Camden

Being a former resident of North London, I was delighted to be asked to photograph Jennifer and Alan's wedding in Camden as I knew there would be a chance to get some cool urban shots. The fact that their reception was in the lovely Prince Albert pub with its quirky decor and relaxed atmosphere, was an added bonus!

The day started with Alan having a swift Scotch in The Skinners Arms before heading to Camden Town Hall to await Jennifer's arrival. I always love seeing the look on the bride and groom's face when they see each other for the first time at the service and Alan and Jennifer's beaming faces as she entered the chamber said it all.

A swift London bus ride to The Prince Albert and it was time to eat, drink and be merry surrounded by friends and family... doesn't get much better than that in my book!
